About the author

I just want to put my thoughts to electronic paper. I am planning on writing another story (probably novella length again), but also build up a collection of short stories, too. I may even dabble in more poetry as well.

I am husband to a fine woman and father of three beautiful, albeit occasionally loud children.  I can sometimes be handy with a hammer and tools, show some ability in working with computers, enjoy the company of books as well as people, and have a mind that can travel to other worlds and dimensions.

I have the ability to sit still during long meetings and don’t hog all the bagels and cream cheese. Coffee can be a religious experience with twice the caffeine of other gods.  My day job has become a hollow routine of drinking average company-supplied coffee, talking with friendly coworkers, having my creativity put at the beck-and-call of my employers whose business visions change daily.

I find inspiration in my family, words, ideas, Dunkin Donuts coffee, humor, intellect, minor home improvement projects, Chuck Taylor shoes, reading, spending time with people who like to use their minds,  and learning new things.

I hope this project helps launch some short stories in which I can share my world with others.  Stories forged on the anvil called the blogosphere.

thank you

  1. SJ–I like this new blog. I am part of a writing group in the Bay Area, and recently learned of this great website–you should check it ou…it has a list of online and print publications that you can send stories to…lists pay rate, response times, etc. I find it really useful: http://www.duotrope.com
